Terms and Conditions

Registration

If your organisation has not already registered please visit www.reciproc8.co.uk or call  0845 194 8288 . Please ensure that you have read all of our Terms and Conditions.

Once you have submitted your registration you will recieve email confirmation that your registration has been successful. Once registered you will be able to log in to the website using your unique username and password, this will allow you to access “partner only” areas of our website. Should you not be able to remember your username or password please email us via the Contact Us section of the website.

To support your recycling scheme once registered please ensure you read the document “Making your Scheme a Success” and download the supporting marketing materials available in our Schemes section.

Reciproc8 Points™

Organisations participating in the Reciproc8 Rewards™ program are expected to deal exclusively with Reciproc8 Recycling in regards to the product areas and products that are collected. If we suspect that an organisation has sorted collections and the products sent are an untypical sample consisting largely of zero value/waste product, Reciproc8™ reserves the right to return the parcel as received back to the sender.

Reciproc8™ will reward collections with Reciproc8 Points™ based on the actual goods received. Each collection received by Reciproc8™ will be logged, checked and tested. Confirmation will be emailed to the recycling partner notifying them of the goods received and the Reciproc8 Points™ allocated.

The table below provides a guide to the Reciproc8 Points™ that will be awarded to each product.

This table and data is a guide only and the Reciproc8 Points™ allocated are based on the actual goods received. To ensure we develop long term relationships with our recycling partners Reciproc8™ are committed to optimising the number of Rewards Points™ for each collection. Only through a fair and equitable treatment of partner collection activities can the ethos of reciprocation be truly delivered and only then may we attain our objective of long term partnerships taking part in a variety of collection schemes throughout the calendar year.

Products

Mobile phone sim cards should be removed from all phones; any sim cards received will be wiped and destroyed.

Reciproc8™ cannot accept any responsibility for returning any items or recovering any data accidentally left on items.

We accept Mobile Phones, PDAs, MP3s, MP4’s, IPODs, Satellite Navigation Units, Ink Cartridges and Toners. For Ink Cartridges and Toners please check the list that is available to download on the "How Many Points are Items Worth" page in our Schemes section for the items that we accept.
 

Recycling Bins

Reciproc8™ will supply a recycling bin for recycling partners to use to collect products for recycling. A recycling bin will be sent following registration on the Reciproc8 Rewards™ program. The recycling bin and the cost of delivery are non-chargeable but 25 Reciproc8 Points™ will be deducted from the first collection to cover the costs. Our partners should keep the recycling bin for on-going collection of goods for recycling and should not use them to return the products collected to Reciproc8™. Should more than one recycling bin or a replacement bin be required please call  0845 194 8288  or visit the Contact Us section and let us know.

Sending the products to us for recycling

Please ensure that you have 50 or more items of points value before sending a collection back to us.

When it is time for our partners to send us the products that they have collected for recycling there are 2 options:

1. Visit the Contact Us section and let us know or call  0845 194 8288  - collections will occur within 48 hours, we will specify a day and it will be between 09:00 and 17:00, unfortunately we cannot specify a time. A collection can be arranged free of charge from addresses in mainland UK for 50 or more items. For lower quantities 20 Reciproc8 Points™ will be deducted to cover collection costs. Each box should weigh no more than 31 kgs. Should the parcel for any reason not be available for collection on the agreed date then a further 10 Reciproc8 Points™ will be deducted to cover the failed collection costs. Please ensure that any parcels sent comply with our packing and labelling requirements.

2. Send Parcels to us - if our partners decide it will be more convenient they may send parcels directly to us at Reciproc8 Recycling Limited, Doddington Park Farm, Bridgemere, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 7PU. For parcels received containing 50 or more items, of points value, we will credit our partner’s account with 20 Reciproc8 Points™. Please ensure that any parcels sent comply with our packing and labelling requirements.

Packing and Labelling

Please ensure product is boxed and packaged securely to avoid damage to goods in transit. Reciproc8™ encourages partners to reuse boxes and packaging materials for collection/delivery. Each box should weigh no more than 31kgs; Reciproc8™can accept multiple boxes however this needs to be advised at the time of booking the collection.

Please enclose a completed packing sheet within the consignment; a template is available to download on the Getting Collections to Us page in the Scheme section. Please retain a copy for your records and where possible e-mail to collections@reciproc8.co.uk prior to collection. We also recommend that collection/delivery dockets from couriers are saved.

All boxes must be labelled with your account number and collection address. If multiple boxes are used please ensure that all boxes are labelled e.g. Box One labelled "1 of 2" and Box Two labelled '2 of 2".

We do not accept claims for damages to goods in transit. To avoid damage to Inkjet Cartridges please put them into their original box or wrap them in bubble/newspaper before bulk packaging. Laser Cartridges should be placed in their original plastic wallet prior to bulk packaging.

Account Credit

Rewards Points™ will be added to your account following the receipt and inspection of each collection. Each collection received by Reciproc8™ will be logged, checked and tested. Confirmation will be emailed to the recycling partner notifying them of the goods received and the Reciproc8 Points™ allocated.

By its participation in the Recycling Rewards™ program your organisation is confirming agreement to:
1. the Reciproc8™ Recycling Limited Terms and Conditions;
2. allow us to renew registrations on a yearly basis and to continue to communicate with you about future schemes;
3. Reciproc8™ Recycling Limited to use your details in press and publicity materials to promote the scheme. 

A partner organisation may not assign any of its rights and obligations relating to the Reciproc8 Rewards™ program without prior written consent. Please contact us on  0845 194 8288  or visit the Contact Us section and let us know if you would like further information.

How to redeem your Reciproc8 Points™

To redeem your Reciproc8 Points™ please go to www.reciproc8.co.uk and

1. Log in using your unique username and password and check your Reciproc8 Points™ balance.

2. Browse the Reciproc8 Rewards™ section of the website and select the products and experiences which you would like to redeem in exchange for your Reciproc8 Points™.

3. Submit details to us.

Please ensure your account has enough Reciproc8 Points™ to meet your selection. Should you wish to convert your Reciproc8 Points™ into a charitable donation or into a monetary value all you need to do is select one of these options.

Once an order has been placed it cannot be changed or cancelled and will normally be delivered within 14 days from the date of the redemption request. Cash payments cannot be accepted to top up orders and the amount of Reciproc8 Rewards™ required to redeem an item from the Reciproc8 Rewards™ program is non-negotiable.

Reciproc8™ reserves the right to substitute the stated items with alternatives of equal or greater value and equivalent to the type ordered and warrant that all goods supplied comply with existing EC/UK legislation and standards. No images, descriptive matter, weights or dimensions issued by Reciproc8™ or the manufacturer of the goods, nor the descriptions and illustrations contained on the website or other promotional material will be regarded as a warranty or representation relating to the goods. Where Reciproc8™ is not the manufacturer of the goods or the ultimate licensor of the software Reciproc8™ will endeavour to transfer to the partner organisation the benefit of any warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturer or ultimate licensor.

Unless Reciproc8™ has notified the partner organisation otherwise, Reciproc8™ will repair or, at its option, replace any goods supplied by Reciproc8™ (other than software) that are proved to the reasonable satisfaction of Reciproc8™ to be defective in material and workmanship (fair wear and tear excepted) provided such defects are notified to Reciproc8™ within 12 months of the date of delivery. This will not apply where:
• The goods have been altered (otherwise than by Reciproc8™) in any way whatsoever or have been subjected to misuse or unauthorised repair; or
• The goods have been improperly installed or connected; or
• The partner organisation has failed to observe any maintenance or storage requirements relating to the goods which have previously been communicated to the partner organisation; or
• The partner organisation has failed to notify Reciproc8™ of any defect or suspected defect within 28 days of the same coming to the notice of the partner organisation.

Any goods returned after replacement will belong to Reciproc8™. Any repaired or replacement goods will be guaranteed on these terms for the original guarantee period. Warranties on repaired or replacement goods will expire at the end of the original warranty period.

Reciproc8™ will be under no liability for any consequential loss or damage or otherwise, including, but not limited to, loss of profits, manufacture or supply of the goods or in connection with any statement given or made (or advice not given or made) by or on behalf of Reciproc8™.

The partner organisation is responsible for ensuring that faulty goods returned to Reciproc8™ for repair or replacement are free from biological, chemical and radioactive hazard. Reciproc8™ reserves the right to refuse to accept goods which in its view present a hazard to its staff or which may infringe Health and Safety at Work legislation or which are without a signed certificate that effective disinfection or decontamination has been carried out.

Deliveries may be made in instalments. Each delivery will be accompanied by a delivery note stating the contents of the delivery. No claim for damage or shortage will be considered unless Reciproc8™ are advised in writing or by email within 14 days. In the absence of such advice the organisation will be deemed to have accepted the goods. Risk in the goods shall pass to the partner organisation once the goods have been delivered and all instructions for use and installation should be followed.

The partner organisation is not entitled to order or obtain credit in any respect of any goods returned.

The goods and experiences in the Reciproc8 Rewards™ program are supplied for use in our partner organisation and not for export or resale.

Reciproc8 Rewards™ Experiences 

You will need to ensure that you have the relevant number of Reciproc8 Points™ for your chosen experience and coaching session. Once your redemption request has been received we will contact you to arrange the experience.

Please advise us of the group size and ages when booking your experience. Please note that:
1. most experiences are limited to a maximum of 40;
2. Experiences must be booked a minimum of 28 days in advance;
3. correspondence will be sent out providing detailed information regarding the experience as confirmation of the booking;
4. we will endeavour to arrange our experiences on your preferred dates however we cannot guarantee availability and may need to provide alternative dates;
5. the partner organisation is responsible for ensuring that all the necessary equipment for the experience is available
6. some activities are not suitable for all children (please advise if there are specific requirements for participating children);
7. individuals taking part in the experiences or do so at their own risk and it is recommended that the participating organisation checks that it has appropriate insurance;
8. participation in experience session implies acceptance of the terms and conditions.

Images and descriptions of the experiences as described by Reciproc8™ are intended as a guide only and may not precisely reflect the content of the sessions provided.

Force majeure

Neither party will be liable for failure in delivery of their obligations due to any cause beyond their reasonable control.

 

These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to terminate any scheme by written notification with 30 days notice.

Please ensure that the person registering on behalf of an organisation has the authority and/or permission to do so. Reciproc8™ will not be liable for any claims relating to mis-representation.

Please note that Reciproc8™ Recycling is a for profit company, it is not a not for profit organisation or charity. Please also note that it is our objective to ensure wherever possible that products returned are reused in accordance with the WEEE Directive.
