RHS Continuous Professional Development Courses
The RHS Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme is available to all adults who are involved in teaching and inspiring children about plants and gardening. A wide range of topics are available.
The aims of this Programme are:
- to enthuse and support teachers in developing and using gardens in school
- to support progression through the RHS Campaign for School Gardening benchmarking scheme, levels 1 to 5
- to encourage and advise teaching of the National Curriculum both inside and outside the classroom using, plants, gardens, school grounds and environmental areas
- to improve knowledge and understanding of plants and gardening

Reciproc8™ - Towards Zero Waste
This is a package of 12 lessons designed to be used over a 5 week period in schools. It helps schools develop waste minimisation strategies with their pupils and move towards zero waste. Schools should be able to reduce waste by up to 50% and benefit from a reduction in waste collection costs.The lessons have been tried and tested in more than 70 schools.
