Should the collection procedures not be adhered to, including sending items not included on our lists, you may be invoiced for all associated costs.
Packing and Labelling
Please ensure products are boxed and packaged securely to avoid damage to goods in transit. We encourage you to reuse boxes and packaging materials for collection/delivery. Each box should weigh no more than 31kgs; We can accept multiple boxes however this needs to be advised at the time of booking the collection. Please do not use your Recylcling Bin to send the products to us.
Please enclose a completed packing sheet within the consignment, this is available to download at the bottom of this page. Retain a copy for your records and where possible email to collections@reciproc8.co.uk prior to collection. We also recommend that collection/delivery dockets from couriers are saved.
All boxes must be labelled with your account number. If multiple boxes are used please ensure that all boxes are labelled e.g. Box One labelled "1 of 2" and Box Two labelled '2 of 2".
We do not accept claims for damages to goods in transit. To avoid damage to items please put them into their original box or wrap them in bubble/newspaper before bulk packaging.
How Many Points are the Items that you collect for recycling worth?
The points that you can earn through collecting items varies depending on the item, whether the item works and the condition of the item.
In general Mobile Phones can earn you the most points, then Sat Navs, then PDAs and MP3/4s, followed by Inkjet Cartridges.
Items that are in good working condition are worth more points than items in poor condition which in turn are worth more than damaged items that do not work.
To help you understand how many points items are worth and which items we accept we have provided further information below. You can also download a detailed list of the items that we currently accept and the points value of each of these. These downloads are in pdf format and are at the bottom of this page.
You may be charged if you send items that are not included in our lists and are items that we do not accept, if in doubt please contact us.
We aim to reward our recycling partners with the maximum points for the items collected for recycling. That's why we assess every single collection that we receive.

Inkjet Cartridges are used throughout the year and although they are not worth the same level of points as Mobiles they are a great way to continually keep earning points throughout the year. As well as all those that you use in your organisation there are plenty in people's homes. 70% of the working population work from home at some point during the week and most have printers!
